We were a family of 6 Adults and 3 kids of the age 15, 8 and 2 years old. I would like to put it on record and state that our 3 days holidays was one of the best ever!!! The hospitality, food, stay, service and attitude of each and every member of their team was simply outstanding… Kudos to the leadership of Mr. Mohan Masih and the owners, who have set up an excellent standard for all to follow.

7 of us arrived from Deli for a 2 night stay here in the middle of the week, and felt so special thanks to the staff, surroundings and facilities. On the edge of the forest, if you are looking for a place that will feel pristine and secluded, to connect back with nature, this is it. Cups of chai were brought hot to our room each morning at the time we requested the night before. The shower and bathrooms were clean and updated; we said the bed and pillows by American standard (soft, yet not lumpy with down duvets) were the best we’d slept on in a long time. They kept us warm since it was the cooler time of the year, especially in the night. It was so cozy. The room was impeccably clean and was stocked with snacks and bottled water; at lunch, dinner and breakfast there was an array of food, juice, Coke/Sprite/bottled water. We wanted for nothing throughout the day - a coffee or chai was only a request away. The pool was closed as it is seasonal and not heated, but it looks like it would be a welcomed dip in the warmer months. We enjoyed trying our hand at some badminton, the 2 swings, some billiards, ping pong along with other games, and just sitting at the outdoor tables soaking up the sun, bamboo trees and lush greens all around us. The kitchen staff and manager were always there with a smile, and kindly obliged to my daughter and my request for non-spicy food (Sorry!). They wouldn’t even let us toast our own toast - they were happy to do it and bring it to our table. Service was amazing. The grounds were pristine (maybe because it was the winter/cooler - but not an insect insight!!). The hotel was wonderful at helping to coordinate our tour in Jim Corbett Park, and direct us towards an elephant ride down to the Kosi River, both which were great. Early in the morning, we walked out the dirt road that lead back to the resort, and out onto the paved road. We walked north past homes, and anyone we encountered was so kind. The crisp cool air was SO wonderful to breathe in and get our day started. People were such a highlight around here, and Buckscent was the perfect setting for it. I would go back and recommend it in a heartbeat. Side note: If you’re not use to the South Asian hot water for the bathrooms - make sure you check with the staff about the correct way to turn on your rooms hot water heater, so you’ll have hot water for a shower! I had plenty of it (I also showered late into the night after the long safari and bonfire!) and it was just what I needed after the long day in the jeep and cold!

Be it the property, the location, the room, the hospitality, the amenities and the food! I can go on and on about the positives of this resort called "Buckscent". The property feels so well planned and built that you forget about your journey and just get mesmerized the moment you enter the premises. Special highlights of my stay were the cozy rooms, the food and the friendly staff. All in all it was money well spent and i would like to visit the property again in the near future.

I was visiting the property for the first time with a group of friends and Buckscent nailed it! It just felt like the property was very well planned and had everything you would need for a memorable stay. From the cozy rooms to various amenities provided by the property, everything was great. The staff was friendly and took care of everything the group needed. How can I forget the FOOD! The meals provided at the property were too good and made the stay extra special for me personally. Would I like to visit the place again? Absolutely!

I had the best stay at BuckScent. The food was amazing, the accommodation was comfortable and homely and the staff was very warm and welcoming. They looked after us for all our needs. I would totally recommend this property for a relaxing and rejuvenating stay.
